Newly built housing estates in Białołęka in Warsaw, places for cyclical alcohol consumption, places chosen by people who are not on the margins of society, since they can afford to live in a new "apartment building". In a world of increasing possibilities and accessibility, people find their own isolated spaces to fulfill their longings and needs.
Places that seemingly seem to be nameless corners become symbols not only of alcohol consumption, but also of wider social and economic realities.
Is it a longing for peace? The space they like becomes a microcosm in which alcohol consumers enter into an intimate relationship with the environment, somewhere between nature and new housing estates. They tenderly develop a no-man's, bland space, adding plastic chairs, placing a stump, arranging turrets out of bottles. They are slowly building a model of some new, different house. I enter these intimate spaces, noticed and found by me in areas located in the close vicinity of Warsaw Białołęka, adding an object, a curtain, which is a specter of safety, comfort and home.
